Malaika Arora Biography:

Malaika Arora Khan, the hot, sexy, the Chaiyya Chaiyya girl, Munni girl of Bollywood is an Indian model, actress, television personality and former MTV VJ and she was born in Chembur, Mumbai on 23 October 1973 to a Punjabi father, Anil Arora, and a Malayali Catholic mother, Joyce Polycarp. Her father worked in the Merchant Navy. She is also known as Malaika Aror. She is the elder sister of one of the popular sex bomb of Bollywood the actress Amrita Arora and also the wife of actor Arbaz Khan, brother of the Dabangg boy Salman Khan and Sohail Khan. She is also the mom of son Arhann.

She completed her secondary education at Swami Vivekanand School, Collector' Colony in Chembur, Mumbai: where her aunt Grace Polycarp was the principal of the school. She is also an alumnus of the Holy Cross High School Thane where she had studied until ninth grade. She lived in Borla Society, Chembur opposite Basant Talkies before starting her modeling career.

She was always wanted to be a famous person and she has a great attraction towards the modeling since childhood and she always loved to pose in-front of the camera. She started her modeling career at the age of 17. The first cover back of Society in April '93 set the ball rolling for Malaika. Her potential was soon recognized by popular music channel MTV. Malaika Arora Khan was selected as one of the MTV VJs when MTV India started its operations in India.  She was offered more prominent roles at Awards Functions and concerts telecast on the television channel. She rose to an interviewer for MTV India, becoming the most prominent non-movie, non-model female in urban India.

Malaika Arora Khan then entered the modeling world. Her modeling career was equally successful. She appeared in many advertisements as well as cameos for song and item numbers in Bollywood films such as Chaiyya Chaiyya in the film Dil Se. Chaiyya Chaiyy of Dil Se made famous in a single night.In 2010, she featured in the superhit item song "Munni Badnaam" in the film Dabangg; this film was produced by her husband Arbaaz Khan. Arora Khan is married to Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan whom she met during a coffee ad shoot. Together they have a son, Arhaan

In an interview she says, “When I am cited as an example of a successful VJ, dancer and a mom, I feel humbled. I’ve given 100 per cent to whatever I’ve done. But there’s also a huge luck factor that has helped.” She was named as the ’sexiest mom’ in Bollywood by Maxim magazine (2007).
