Drew Barrymore, the very hot, sizzling beauty, Charming, free-spirited, blonde babe ) is an American actress, film producer and film director and she was born in Culver City, California on February 22, 1975 to her father John Drew Barrymore, an American actor and to her mother Ildiko Jaid Barrymore (nee Mako), an aspiring actress. Her full name is Drew Blyth Barrymore but she is commonly known as Drew Barrymore. Her parents divorced after she was born. She has one half-brother, John Blyth Barrymore, also an actor, and two half-sisters, Blyth Dolores Barrymore and (Brahma) Jessica Blyth Barrymore.
Acting is in Drew Barrymore’s blood. Her great-grandparents Maurice Barrymore and Georgie Drew Barrymore, Maurice Costello and Mae Costello and her grandparents John Barrymore and Dolores Costello, were all actors; so deserve to be an Actress.
Drew Barrymore, the very talented young actress, has been as well known for her wild antics off-screen as for her acting ability. Ildiko Jaid Barrymore her mother, after divorced from her husband John Barrymore Jr., began taking her daughter Drew Barrymore to auditions as a baby. The youngest Barrymore appeared in her first television commercial for Puppy Choice dog food before she was eleven months old.
Barrymore made her film debut in Altered States in 1980. Afterwards, she starred in her breakout role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She quickly became one of Hollywood's most recognized child actors, going on to establish herself in mainly comic roles.
Drew Barrymore's career began while she was only eleven months old; when she was auditioned for a dog food commercial. During the audition she was bitten by her co-star canine and due to this her producers were afraid she would cry and cancel the audition but she merely laughed, and was hired for the job. She made her film debut in Altered States (1980); here in this film she got a small part. A year later, she posed for the role of Gertie, the younger sister of Elliott, in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and this made her famous in the film industry. She received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 1984 for her role in Irreconcilable Differences, in which she starred as a young girl divorcing her parents.
Drew Barrymore's fame of star was officially on the rise during the mid-90s with notable appearances in Poison Ivy (1992), Bad Girls (1994/I), Boys on the Side (1995), Batman Forever (1995), Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You (1996) and Wes Craven's Scream (1996/I). Turns in The Wedding Singer (1998), EverAfter (1998), Never Been Kissed (1999), Charlie's Angels (2000), Riding in Cars with Boys (2001) and Donnie Darko (2001) followed, proving to once-cynical audiences that Barrymore was not only a capable leading lady, but also a gifted and versatile actor. Recent projects have included 50 First Dates (2004), Fever Pitch (2005), Music and Lyrics (2007), Curtis Hanson's Lucky You (2007) and the forthcoming Grey Gardens (2009) (TV).
Personal life
In 1991, only at the age of 16, Drew Barrymore became engaged to Leland Hayward, grandson of Hollywood producer Leland Hayward. But after a few months, however, this engagement was breakout. After this Barrymore was engaged to and lived with musician/actor Jamie Walters in 1992–93.
She was first married to Welsh bartender turned bar owner Jeremy Thomas from March 20 to April 28, 1994. Her second marriage was to comedian Tom Green from July 7, 2001 to October 15, 2002. But late they divorced in December 2001.
From 2002 to 2007 Barrymore began dating The Strokes' drummer Fabrizio Moretti. After this she dated Justin Long, but they confirmed their split in July 2008. Anyway the couple reunited in 2009 and co-starred in the 2010 film Going the Distance.
Since the 1990s, Barrymore has been frequently mentioned as one of the few openly bisexual Hollywood personalities. In 2004, she was quoted as saying "A woman and a woman together are beautiful, just as a man and a woman together are beautiful.
Since early 2009, Drew Barrymore has appeared in several print and television advertisements for Cover Girl cosmetics products. A recent survey conducted by a Los Angeles marketing research firm of celebrity spokespeople had reveled that Drew Barrymore world 3rd "most wanted" list of female celebrity endorsers (trailing only Cindy Crawford and Halle Berry, and placing ahead of the likes of Catherine Zeta-Jones, Denise Richards, Katie Holmes and Heather Graham).
