Brooke Burke, the hot wild, sexy, hottest tour guide, adrenaline junkie, funky bikini babe is an American television personality, model, and occasional dancer and she was born in Hartford, Connecticut, USA on September 8, 1971 to her parents Donna and George Burke. She is very well known to the world for hosting Wild On! (1999–2002), Rock Star (2005–2006), for winning the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars and for co-hosting Dancing With the Stars starting in 2010 (Season 10). She has graced numerous top popular magazine covers, has top-selling swimsuit calendars and is regularly ranked in men's magazines as one of the sexiest women in the world today. Her full original name is Brooke Lisa Burke but she is commonly known to the world as Brooke Burke.
Early life and Career:
Brooke Burke is the oldest of nine children to her parents Donna and George Burke. Burke is Jewish, and has Irish, French, and Portuguese ancestry. Though she was born in Hartford, Connecticut, USA but she was raised in Tucson, Arizona. She attended both Sahuaro High School and Palo Verde High School in Tucson, and later studied broadcast journalism at UCLA. Brooke Burke’s parents divorced while she was only at the age of 2. At the age of 2 of Brooke Burke her biological father left the family.
Brooke Burke, she never want to be in the field of modeling, but when she accompanied a friend to a modeling agency in Scottsdale, Arizona, she was discovered by a talent scout who happened to be there. In an interview Brooke Burke says "When I was young, I wanted to do something innocuous, like become a drummer in a rock and roll band". The talented Brooke Burke took that opportunity of modeling to jump fully into the field of entertainment.
Burke first appeared nude to pose for photograph during her early modeling career for the website BlueNudes and most notably after gaining fame in the May 2001 and November 2004 issues of popular men’s magazine Playboy. Brooke Burke's early career consisted mostly of modeling jobs which saw her appearing ondozens of magazine covers, billboards, swimsuit editorials, catalogs and posters She also appeared in men's magazines such as Maxim, Stuff, and FHM. In 2007, she was listed as one of Blender's hottest women of film and TV. In 2001 Burke also competed in the TV show host edition of The Weakest Link where she was voted off in the second round.
In 2005 and 2006, Burke hosted the CBS summer reality show Rock Star, an American Idol-like series in which aspiring singers competed to become either the frontman or frontwoman for a rock band.
In 2007, Brooke Burke the entrepreneur has established a company called Baboosh Baby, which offers wraps for pregnant women. The company's website features a blog from Burke about her children.
During her glorious three-year stint as host of "Wild On..." (1997), Brooke Burke has redefined the term exotic location. She has guided tours from the Australian Outback to the Mayan Riviera and from the endangered Bamboo forests of Bali to the hyperthyroid nightlife of the world's most exotic party capitals.
In 2009, Burke hosted NBC's pre-show for the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards with Tiki Barber and Nancy O'Dell.Brooke Burke has guest-starred on many television series like "Las Vegas" (2003), "Less Than Perfect" (2002), "Eve" (2003), "It's All Relative" (2003), "The Bernie Mac Show" (2001), "Monk" (2002), "Rock Me, Baby" (2003) and "That's Life" (2000). She also co-hosted the Miss America 2011 Pageant with Chris Harrison.
